It Looks Different Because It Is — Tour Our Teen Mental Health Facilities

“Partial Hospitalization” and “Intensive Outpatient” may sound clinical, but our spaces are anything but.

Our Wake Forest and Hillsborough locations are warm, creative, and designed to help teens feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

Schedule a tour with our admissions team and see the difference for yourself. Once you walk through the doors, treatment may feel far less intimidating.

A Note from Our Interior Designer

Bright Path is not a clinic or a hospital. It’s a place where teens come to face hard things, sit with discomfort, and discover their own capacity to move through it.That belief guided every design choice. Rather than outsourcing to a corporate healthcare firm, Bright Path partnered with local interior designer Ashley Whiteside to create a space that feels familiar, grounded, and human. The environment is intentionally size-inclusive, gender-inclusive, and trauma-informed - reducing unnecessary stress and helping teens feel at ease in a moment that already takes courage.By designing a place teens actually want to be, Bright Path invites teens and their families into a setting that is, in Ashley’s words, “washed in color but not juvenile, sophisticated but approachable, and inspired but not pretentious”.

    About Our Wake Forest Location

Our Wake Forest location is a warm, comfortable office suite with two group therapy rooms, individual provider offices, a dedicated family therapy and admissions room, and common areas where teens can decompress between sessions. When the weather cooperates — and sometimes even when it doesn't — groups occasionally move out to our covered outdoor patio, and the sidewalks winding through the office complex mean a walk between sessions is always an option. Fresh air does a lot.

For families who travel from further away and stick around during programming, you're in good company here. Local coffee shops, a library, and nearby coworking spaces make it easy to get some work done while your teen is with us. And if you've got siblings in tow, The Factory next door is a great way to keep them entertained — with ice cream in the summer and iSmash's rage and splatter rooms for when everyone just needs to let something out.

    About Our Hillsborough Location

Our Hillsborough location is a standalone building with three distinct group spaces — a traditional group therapy room, a classroom-style space, and a multi-purpose art room that brings a little more creativity into the mix. Add in individual provider offices, an admissions room, a conference room, and comfortable common areas, and it's a space that has room to breathe.

The location doesn't hurt either. Situated across from the Sportsplex and surrounded by green space, teens have plenty of opportunity to step outside between sessions — whether that's a walk during individual therapy, some sunshine between groups, or a chance encounter with the local wildlife. Hawks, deer, the occasional neighborhood cat, and some very good dogs on walks have all made appearances. For families hanging around during programming, there are local coffee shops and a library nearby for getting work done, and the Sportsplex across the street is a solid option for keeping siblings busy while you wait.
